[BUILD THREAD] Speed Passion LeMans LM-1 - Body painted and stickers done!

Done up a 3 tone paint work for the LeMans body...

Fluorescent Orange for the centre portion, Silver for the sides and Light gun metal for the spoiler, front lip and side skirts.....

Pasted some of the stickers that came with the kit and added some reflective stickers for the window trims since this LeMans will likely be more active on the night meets.... :D

some photos of the car....

Testing out the reflective window trims.....

And testing out the Lights.....
Used 2x 5mm LED in cool white, and 3x 3mm LED in warm white...

And here's the current status... :)

Thanks for looking!

P.S. Will be cutting the body posts soon.... :D

the parts... nicely sorted out....

the manual...

easy and straight forward....

step 1.... sorted out the hardware.... a tip from bro LaneBoysRC.... which proved very helpful and easy for my past builds....

built up the motor mount....

the differentials....

wanted to use a Sport Tuned motor found from my spare box...

but ended up.... the mounting holes on the motor mount didn't aligned to the motor's.... and was later advisedbro Liew that the kit requires a 6-hole motor....

proceeded on to build the steering...

front arms....

steering links, servo mounts...

and as usual.... as a newbie.... it was my first time seeing this suspensions on the front arms....

almost done....

proceeded on to the rear suspensions.....

the dampers....

and the oil shocks...

noticed that some parts are from "Street Jam".....

done with the shocks.....

adding the shims before mounting the wheels....

and all done for the chassis....
