I love the Ivan Stewart theme paintwork very much.... but the body is quite worn out....

time to retire this body.....

i've got this Ford Raptor body for the Slash 4x4 quite some time back.... quite quite quite some time back actually...
finally got time to touch this!

bought the extended mounts for the Slash 4x4 together with the body...

trim them out....

fasten the grub screws halfway through the body posts....

and assemble the extended body posts....

remove the 2 bolts from the stock body posts.....

and mount up the new extended body posts....

did the same for the rear....
remove the stock....

and fixed up the extended posts....

test fitted the body....

then realised, the longer set of body posts should be installed in the front of the slash....

and the shorter set of posts should be installed in the rear....

test fitted again and set up the height of the body posts....

then washed.....

and air dried.....

dug out the spray cans from the store room....

masked and sprayed....

mounting the painted shell onto the chassis....

then.... pasted the stickers....
and it's done!

now the slash is ready for bashing again!
