[Photos] Respraying the Ivan Stewart Theme for the Traxxas Slash 4x4

after the 1st offroad run on the traxxas slash...

i learnt an important lesson....
do not use Mumeisha spray paint for lexan even when the hobby shop sales person tells you that the paint works well on lexan....
     

this is the result of some "banging" and "crashing" at the last durian trail bashing session...
the red paint started flaking.... it doesn't stick to lexan at all... every knock will make the paint flake off the lexan body...

so... i spent a few nights... half an hour or so per session... to "knock" on the red portion of the lexan body to remove the paint...

got a Tamiya PS-34 Bright Red spray paint....

after a few thin coats.... backed with silver paint...
and touched up the other colors a little as well...

next up would be to redo the stickers onto the traxxas slash body...
and Ivan Stewart themed traxxas slash 4x4 is reborned!
