SCX10 Honcho mods - wheel wells, motor cover, rod for antenna, etc

Was supposed to meet up with some friends from rctech forum this morning for some off roading, but it was raining since last night... so the off roading was cancelling...

So, instead of off roading... i stayed at home and did some mods for the honcho....

Rod for routing the antenna... i don't like the antenna sticking out of the honcho's bonnet... so i bent a hollow plastic stick for the antenna, so that it can be concealed inside the body instead of sticking out... i hope the reception would be as good...

i also customized a motor cover for the honcho... 

it double up as a "ESC container holder" 

the motor cover is customized using compressed foam... 

i love compressed foam, easy to work with!

the motor cover and the antenna rod in place...

the ESC container sits on it nicely

i also made a pair of wheel wells, made them using disposable food container, 

just need one container to make a pair...

i've also covered the aluminium plates on the front bumper 

with carbon fiber stickers for some scratch protection...

That's all for today... while waiting for my 3Racing winch to arrive, will think of some scale accessories to make... would be making some bungee cords for a start!
